Google Go language

I just have to jump in on this one. I really believe the Go language has the potential to replace C and C++ in the future. We need a new System language for writing low level code and Go is a good start. Yes, it is a new language and very early in it's lifecycle, but it has great promise to solve many issues C and C++ programmers face.

So here's to the Go team for their vision and willingness to share this new language with the rest of the community so we can help improve it.

I will prognosticate today that many of us will be using Go in the future, not because it is from Google, but because it is a good idea, it has strong roots in the System development arena, and it really is a cool language.

I would like to see it ported to Windows. This will help to promote the language everywhere. Let's face it you just can't beat the embedded Windows base, it's just too big.

Best of luck Go team !!!!
